1) Raw material processing:
Cleaning: use equipment such as high efficiency vibrating sifter,plane revolving sieve,gravity classification stoner,scourer impact cleaner, and air separators to remove impurities such as straw, stones, and bad wheat etc. Ensuring the purity of the raw materials.
Matching and adjustment: According to product requirements, match different varieties of wheat and adjust the moisture to make the wheat suitable for milling.
2) Conditioning
Conditioning and storage: Water the cleaned wheat to increase its moisture content, and then store it for a certain period of time (usually 8-24 hours) to improve the toughness of the wheat bran and reduce the mechanical strength of the endosperm, which is beneficial for subsequent grinding.
3) Grinding and sifting:
Grinding and sifting: Wheat is milled into particles of different sizes by milling machines, and classified by sifting equipment(double bin sifter or plansifter ) to extract flour, bran, etc. This process is complex and delicate, involving multiple systems such as skin grinding, slag grinding, heart grinding, and tail grinding, each with its specific grinding tasks and goals.
4) Packaging:
Packaging the flour into different package for sell.
In addition, the processing technology of wheat flour mills also emphasizes automation control, which achieves automatic start stop, parameter adjustment, fault alarm and other functions of the equipment through PLC or automation control system to improve production efficiency and product quality stability.
