Warmly Celebrate Zimbabwe Champion Foods Opening

In the heart of Africa, the picturesque capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, we are proud to announce the successful installation and launch of an advanced 500T/24H maize processing mill project. This project not only marks another important milestone in agricultural cooperation between China and Zimbabwe, but also an important measure to promote the upgrading of the local agricultural industry, enhance food safety and self-sufficiency.

This project adopts internationally leading grain processing technology and equipment, integrating multiple processes such as efficient cleaning, fine grinding, intelligent grading, and environmentally friendly packaging, ensuring that every link from raw maize materials to finished products meets high standards and strict requirements. Its designed daily production capacity is up to 500 tons of raw maize grain, including but not limited to diversified products such as super white maize meal,breakfast meal,roller meal and maize grits, effectively meeting the diversified market demand.

On March 27, 2024, Zimbabwe welcomed an exciting moment:PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has officially commissioned the Champions Foods (Pvt) Limited Milling Plant in Tynwald, Harare.
The Tynwald Milling Complex comprises a Maize, Wheat and Stock feed Milling Plant. The Maize Milling Plant has a capacity of 500MT per day, while the Wheat Milling Plant has a capacity of 200MT per day.
This significant investment makes Champion Foods (Pvt) Limited the third biggest miller in the country.

On a sunny day, there is a festive and hopeful atmosphere surrounding the Champion Foods Limited. At the opening ceremony, guests from the government, business community, and various sectors of society gathered together to celebrate this milestone achievement. Zimbabwean politicians, flour mill leaders, and partners expressed their high recognition and best wishes for this 500 ton maize milling project.

​With the successful conclusion of the opening ceremony, the Champion Foods has officially set sail, embarking on its glorious journey in Zimbabwe and even the entire African continent. We firmly believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, this maize mill factory will become another model of China Africa cooperation, injecting new vitality and momentum into building a closer China Africa community with a shared future.
